In this challenging and popular class, students will study the work of a rotating selection of lesser known master artists and create original pieces inspired by each artist’s unique style. Through close visual study and discussion, we will explore what defines each master’s approach, including their use of composition, color, technique, and subject matter.

Students will have two weeks to work on each painting, allowing time for deeper exploration, refinement, and experimentation. This extended format encourages thoughtful process and skill building while still leaving room for personal interpretation.

All levels and all mediums are welcome. Whether you work in paint, drawing materials, or mixed media, this class offers a supportive environment for artists who want to push their skills, study historical influence, and create work inspired by the greats.

Students are required to bring their own supplies.

Plus, you can join at any time - late starts are prorated, so you won’t miss a beat. Come and unleash your creativity in a fun, supportive environment!
