Looking for a fun, hands-on summer camp in Colorado Springs where your child can explore their creativity? Peaks & Paint is the perfect art summer camp for kids ages 6–13! Each week, campers dive into painting, drawing, and pottery in a welcoming, encouraging studio environment. Whether your child is new to art or already loves making things, they'll have a blast—and take home their creations, too!

🎭 About the Weekly Themes

Every camper will explore painting, drawing, pottery, and mixed media—regardless of the week or theme you choose!
The weekly themes simply guide our creativity and add a fun twist to the projects.

Here’s a sneak peek at the kinds of projects we do:

• ⛰️ Mountain Magic – Paint Colorado-inspired landscapes, sculpt mountain creatures, and design wooden signs

• 🌈 Color Crazy – Explore color theory, pour-paint rainbows, and make vibrant clay art

• 🐉 Mythical Creatures & Magic – Design fantasy creatures, create dragon eggs, and craft spell books

• 🚀 Outer Space Explorers – Build clay aliens, paint galaxy scenes, and create rocket collages

• 🏛️ Art Through the Ages – Try cave painting, mosaic tiles, Egyptian jewelry, and pop art

• 🌼 Garden of Imagination – Make botanical prints, insect sculptures, and floral paintings

• 🐠 Under the Sea – Sculpt sea creatures, paint ocean scenes, and create underwater worlds

• 🌍 Art Around the World – Explore global art styles like African masks, Japanese ink, and Mexican folk art

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What should my child bring?
A: We provide all art supplies! Just pack a water bottle, a snack, and clothes that can get messy.

Q: Can my child attend both morning and afternoon sessions?
A: Absolutely! You're welcome to register for both sessions to create a full-day camp experience. (Please pack an extra snack!)

Q: Is this camp for beginners?
A: Yes! All skill levels are welcome. Our projects are adaptable and fun for every level.
