🎨 What You’ll Learn

This beginner friendly workshop is designed for adults 18+ who want to build confidence using a sewing machine and learn techniques for clean professional finishes. In just one session you will gain hands on experience and leave with a completed project you can be proud of.

This class offers two registration options so you can choose what works best for you.

You’ll learn how to:

• Thread a sewing machine

• Wind a bobbin

• Sew straight lines and basic seams

• Use different presser feet and tools

• Troubleshoot common machine issues

👜 What You Can Make

By the end of class each student will complete a handmade tote bag using studio provided materials. It is a perfect first project that is both functional and fun.

You bring your own working sewing machine from home including power cord foot pedal and basic accessories. Includes all materials for the tote bag and 2 hours of guided instruction.

Option 2 - Use a Studio Sewing Machine

Cost $35 total

Use one of our studio sewing machines. Availability is limited so advance registration is required.Includes all materials for the tote bag and 2 hours of guided instruction.
