At PPAC, we believe art should make an impact—not just on the artist, but on the world around us. And our year-round teen “Grad” art class, led by the ever-inspiring Miss Rhonda, just wrapped up a project that’s the perfect blend of beauty, purpose, and heart.

This spring, our Grads rolled up their sleeves and got their hands into the clay to create something truly special: handcrafted ceramic dishes and bells, lovingly made to support a local cause that’s close to all of our hearts.

These beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces are now packed up and ready for delivery to the Assistance League Thrift Shop in downtown Colorado Springs!

🎉 Every single item was designed, shaped, and glazed by our talented teen artists, who poured care and creativity into each and every detail. (Seriously—wait ‘til you see them. They’re stunning.)

Even more inspiring? The students weren’t just making art—they were making a difference. They learned about the mission of the Assistance League and the many ways this organization supports our local community. From day one, they understood that 100% of the profits from their creations would go straight to the thrift shop’s cause. Talk about art with a heART! ❤️

This project wasn't just about technique—it was about empathy, collaboration, and the power of art to give back. We couldn’t be prouder of our Grads for embracing this opportunity with open hearts and open minds.

So next time you’re downtown, swing by the Assistance League Thrift Shop and check out their latest treasures. You just might walk away with a handmade dish or bell that was crafted by a young artist right here at PPAC. And with every purchase, you're not just supporting local art—you're supporting the greater good.

Way to go, Grads. You’re making the world a little more beautiful—one piece at a time.
