Weeklong Summer Ceramics Program in Colorado Springs
Does your teen love art—or want to try something new and hands-on this summer? Our Teen Clay Intensive is a 5-day deep dive into the world of ceramics, designed to teach real pottery techniques in a fun, supportive, and creative studio environment.
Open to all skill levels, this program is perfect for both total beginners and more experienced teen artists looking to refine their craft.
🔥 What Teens Will Learn:
Over the course of the week, students will explore every major area of ceramics, including:
🎨 Glazing techniques
🌀 Wheel throwing
🏗️ Handbuilding with slabs and coils
🧱 Studio tools, kiln use, and clay care
💡 Creative problem-solving and project design
By the end of the week, teens will have completed several projects they can be proud of—and gained real skills they can build on.
📅 Program Dates & Times:

Session 1: June 9 – June 13 [THIS PAGE IS FOR THIS SESSION]
Session 2: June 23 – June 27
Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM each day (Monday–Friday)
Ages: 12–17
Location: PPAC – OCC Studio - 2708 W Colorado Ave STE C, Colorado Springs, CO 80904

$300 per student for the full week (includes all materials, tools, and firings)

All materials included—just bring a water bottle and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy!
All projects will be fired and ready for pickup in 4–6 weeks after camp ends
