4-Week Course with Erin Gillespie

In this lively 4-week course, students will explore the world of contemporary still life painting with instructor Erin Gillespie. Each week focuses on a different modern artist who brings a fresh perspective to still life - through bold color palettes, inventive compositions, and unexpected subject matter.

Students will study these artists’ approaches to light, texture, and form, then create their own original paintings inspired by each style. Erin will guide students in applying techniques such as layering, color harmony, and expressive brushwork to help bring their ideas to life.

This class is perfect for artists of all experience levels who are eager to expand their creative toolkit and explore fresh perspectives in still life painting. All painting mediums are welcome, including acrylic, oil, watercolor, and gouache.

Students are required to bring their own supplies.
