In this new and exciting 8-week class, join Erin Gillespie for a creative exploration of interior and garden-themed painting through the lens of contemporary artists. Each week, we’ll study the work and distinctive styles of painters who focus on domestic spaces, lush gardens, and the quiet beauty of everyday environments.
Through guided discussions and visual analysis, students will gain insight into how these artists use color, composition, and mood to bring intimate and natural spaces to life. Then, inspired by the week’s featured artist, students will create their own paintings—experimenting with similar palettes, techniques, and subject matter.
This class is perfect for artists of all levels who are interested in painting cozy interiors, vibrant garden scenes, and the interplay between indoor and outdoor spaces. All painting mediums are welcome, including acrylic, oil, watercolor, and mixed media.
Students are required to bring their own supplies.
Plus, you can join at any time—late starts are prorated, so you won’t miss a beat. Come and unleash your creativity in a fun, supportive environment!
