Create Festive Clay Luminaries in Colorado Springs


Get into the holiday spirit with this one-day pottery workshop focused on creating your own handmade luminaries — no pottery wheel required! This class is perfect for beginners and returning students alike who want to explore handbuilding with clay in a fun, relaxed setting.


You’ll learn the core handbuilding techniques — pinching, coiling, and slab-building — to design and craft your own glowing clay creations. With guidance from a professional instructor, you’ll shape and carve luminaries that reflect your unique style and the warmth of the season


✨ What You’ll Make:


Each participant will handbuild up to three clay luminaries, which could include:

🎄 Tree-shaped luminaries or winter forests

⭐ Star-cut votives and candle holders

🏠 Cozy cottage lanterns

🕯 Any imaginative, light-filled creation you dream up!

💵 Pricing

Class Fee: $75

Materials Fee: $15

Total: $90 per person (includes all materials and firings)


🔥 Pottery Pickup

Finished pieces will be glazed, fired, and ready for pickup 4–6 weeks after the workshop. We’ll send you a notification when they’re ready!
