Savannah Walker

Savannah grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on a small country farm. She uses her country background as inspiration for much of her work. Savannah is a ceramic artist and painter who recently graduated from College of the Ozarks with a Bachelor's of Art in Studio Art. During college Savannah worked as a pottery assistant, maintaining the classroom, assisting with class demos and tutoring, firing the college's wood, gas, electric, and salt kilns, making clay bodies, and mixing up glazes. Post graduation, she moved to Colorado seeking adventure, new scenery, and the next chapter in her story. Savannah loves creating things that are bright and colorful, funny, or sculptural. She looks forward to meeting students and sharing her love for creativity and humor in the classroom. Her goal is for each student to discover joy in the learning process and be encouraged by  the growth and challenge they experience in the classroom.
