First Friday - Try The Pottery Wheel! [May 1st]
Join us for our monthly wheel throwing mini course, part of Old Colorado City’s First Friday art walk! No experience is necessary, and you don’t need to bring anything with you—just your enthusiasm. This engaging workshop starts with a brief demonstration from your instructor, showcasing the basics of wheel throwing. After that, you’ll have 30 minutes to explore the clay, shaping and molding your creations while expressing your unique artistic vision.

6 Weeks of Pottery (INTRO) - Sunday Evenings [May 3rd]
This six-session ceramic class, perfect for all skill levels, guides you through the entire process, from raw clay to glazed art. You'll get personalized instruction each week, learning basic hand-building, wheel throwing for functional pieces like bowls and mugs, trimming, surface design, and glazing. Explore creative shapes and textures while making vases, plates, sculptures, and more!

This monthly pottery workshop is a welcoming space for adults of all skill levels to explore the art of handbuilding with clay while enjoying fresh local coffee and good company. Make anything from mugs and trays to small sculptures or planters—it’s up to you! You’ll have time to play, create, and connect with others in a relaxed studio setting.
