Meagan Johnson

Meagan Johnson is a ceramic artist based in Colorado Springs. She studied ceramics in college and has maintained her own home pottery studio for the past four years, where she continues to develop her practice and work with students. She especially enjoys teaching beginners and helping new potters feel comfortable at the wheel.

Meagan’s classes focus on building strong fundamentals while keeping the process encouraging and approachable. She brings an enthusiastic, supportive energy to the studio and is always happy to share practical tips and tricks that help students move past early frustrations and start making the forms they’re hoping for. She especially enjoys the moment when students start to feel confident at the wheel and realize how much they enjoy working with clay.
