🎨 About the Course Ever wanted to try your hand at pottery? Join us at PPAC Clay Studio in Old Colorado City for our First Friday Wheel Throwing Mini-Course! Part of the monthly First Friday Art Walk celebration, this fun, beginner-friendly experience is a perfect creative outing for couples, families, or friends looking to try something new in a welcoming studio atmosphere.
💡 What You'll Learn & Experience During this 45-minute hands-on workshop, you will receive step-by-step guidance from a professional ceramic instructor. You will explore:
Live instructor demonstrations of foundational wheel-throwing techniques
Hands-on wheel time learning how to center clay, open, pull height, and shape forms
Methods for creative surface design and altering shapes to personalize your work
🏺 What You'll Make & Create Participants create small functional pieces such as bowls, cups, or decorative dishes. After your session, select your favorite piece, and our studio team will professionally glaze and kiln-fire it for you. Your finished ceramic artwork will be ready for pickup at the studio in 4–6 weeks!

Ages: 6+ (Children under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult)
Skill Level: Beginner (No prior experience necessary)
Class Size: Intimate small-group setting (Maximum 6 students per session)

Class Fee: $40
Materials Fee: $10 (Includes clay, glazes & firing)

📋 Refund Policy
Cancel online at least 7 days before your class for a full refund. Cancellations made 3 to 6 days before class receive studio credit toward any future offering. Cancellations inside the 3-day window and no-shows are not eligible for refunds or credit.
