Intro to Pottery Wheel

🎨 About the Course This beginner-friendly adult pottery workshop is the perfect gateway into working with clay! Whether you are brand new to ceramics or returning after time away, this 2-hour class offers a relaxed, hands-on introduction to wheel throwing with the flexibility to explore handbuilding techniques.

💡 What You'll Learn & Experience Under the step-by-step guidance of a professional instructor, you will learn how to center clay, pull walls, and shape simple forms on the pottery wheel. We'll also cover basic tool use, surface texturing, and shaping methods.

🏺 What You'll Make & Create

You'll have the opportunity to create up to 3 finished clay pieces, such as:

• Cups, tumblers, or coffee mugs

• Small bowls or serving dishes

• Planters, trays, or decorative luminaries

Your completed pieces will be glazed, kiln-fired, and ready for pickup in 4–6 weeks!
