6 Weeks of Pottery

🎨 About the Course Take your ceramic skills to the next level with our flagship 6-week adult pottery course! Designed for all skill levels—from absolute beginners to intermediate throwers—this immersive weekly series covers the complete ceramic journey in depth, giving you plenty of hands-on wheel time and studio support.

💡 What You'll Learn & Experience

Over six weekly 2-hour classes, you will develop strong technical foundations across:

  • Wheel throwing essentials: centering, pulling walls, and shaping bowls, mugs, plates, and vases

  • Core handbuilding methods for sculptural or structured forms

  • Trimming bases, pulling clay handles, and adding decorative surface textures

  • Glazing techniques using our full palette of studio glazes

🏺 What You'll Make & Create Students build a comprehensive collection of functional ceramic stoneware, including set bowls, coffee mugs, serving plates, and decorative vases.

  • Ages: Adults 17+

  • Location: 🏛️ OCC Clay Studio (2708 W Colorado Ave, STE C, Colorado Springs, CO)

💳 Tuition & Investment

  • Class Fee: $275

  • Materials Fee: $50 (Includes 10 lbs of clay, tools, glazes & firings)

  • Total: $325 per person


📋 Refund Policy

Cancel online at least 7 days before your class for a full refund. Cancellations made 3 to 6 days before class receive studio credit toward any future offering. Cancellations inside the 3-day window and no-shows are not eligible for refunds or credit.
