🏺 Youth Clay Handbuilding Intro Class (Ages 6–11)

This one-day pottery workshop is perfect for young artists ready to explore the fun and creativity of working with clay! In this beginner-friendly class, kids will learn foundational handbuilding techniques, including pinch, coil, and slab construction—no pottery wheel involved.

With plenty of encouragement and guidance, students will get to create their own unique clay pieces while learning the basics of form, texture, and function. It’s the perfect mix of structure and creative freedom for ages 6–11.

🎨 What Kids Might Create:

  • Pinch pot animals or characters

  • Coil-built bowls or planters

  • Mini fairy houses or tree stumps

  • Slab-rolled trays or name signs

  • Textured tiles or wall hangings

All tools and materials are provided—just bring imagination (and clothes that can get a little muddy)!

This is a great introduction to ceramics in a warm, kid-focused studio environment.
