Mother's Day Pottery (Hand & Wheel) - [May 11th]

Writer: PPACPPAC

Hands working with clay at a pottery wheel
A joyful mother and daughter share a creative moment at a pottery workshop, surrounded by colorful ceramics and vibrant flowers.

Designed for all skill levels, this special Mother’s Day weekend class offers a fun and hands-on introduction to both handbuilding and wheel throwing. While anyone is welcome to attend, the focus will be on creating together and making special memories with your loved ones. 💖

Students will learn the basics of handbuilding, which can be used to craft thoughtful and functional pieces such as jewelry dishes, vases, trinket boxes, or personalized plaques. 🎁 On the wheel, you'll explore essential techniques like centering, opening, and shaping clay to create round forms—perfect for making mugs, bowls, or candle holders. 🏺 Whether you prefer to handbuild, use the wheel, or combine both techniques, we encourage creativity and personalization.

Come with your mother, mother figure, or grab a friend! ✨ We’ll have plenty of fun project ideas for pairs to create something together and celebrate the occasion. This isn’t about making a last-minute gift—it’s about sharing a creative experience and enjoying time with someone special.

👩‍👧 Open to all ages! For those 15 and under, an adult is required to attend with you. Come ready to play with clay, make memories, and create something truly special! 🎨✨
