🎨 Intro to Abstract Pastels: Create in Small Sketchbooks or on Large Canvases


Unlock your creativity in this brand new pastel class taught by Erin Gillespie, our talented resident artist known for her bold, expressive work. This course is designed for adults 18+ and welcomes all skill levels—from complete beginners to experienced artists looking to explore something new.


🖍️ In this class, you’ll dive into the vibrant world of pastels, working with both dry pastels and oil pastels to create expressive, colorful artworks. Erin will guide you through techniques for using pastels on both small sketchbooks and large canvases, encouraging freedom of expression as you explore a variety of subject matter—from abstract compositions to more representational work.


🧾 Please bring your own supplies—you’re welcome to use any type of pastel materials you prefer. If you’re unsure what to bring or want recommendations, feel free to reach out to Erin directly for guidance.
