Ever wanted to try your hand at pottery? Join us for our First Friday Wheel Throwing Mini Course at PPAC Studio in Old Colorado City! This fun, beginner-friendly class is part of the monthly First Friday Art Walk celebration — and it’s a perfect creative outing for families, couples, or friends.

No experience necessary! All materials are provided — just bring your enthusiasm.

🎨 What You’ll Learn

This 45-minute wheel throwing mini course includes:

  • A live instructor demonstration of basic wheel techniques

  • Hands-on practice time at your own pottery wheel

  • Learning how to center clay, open, pull height, and shape small forms

  • Techniques for surface design and altering shapes creatively

Students will have the opportunity to create small, functional pieces such as bowls, mugs, or other round forms. After the session, you’ll choose your favorite piece, and we’ll professionally glaze and fire it for you!
