Ever wanted to try Pottery Wheel Throwing? Immerse yourself in the transformative world of ceramics at our studio's monthly wheel throwing mini course, a featured event during Old Colorado City's First Friday art walk.
This workshop kicks off with a short demo of wheel throwing from your instructor, followed by a half hour of clay exploration, where you'll shape, mold and express your artistic vision through the ancient art of pottery. At the end, you'll have a chance to choose a piece you've created that speaks to you and we'll honor it with professional glazing and firing. This special 45-minute class is perfect for families and friends looking to spend a creative evening together.
Your pieces will be ready for collection in 4-6 weeks, a lasting emblem of your journey into the world of ceramics.
