Monthly Handbuilding Pottery Class in Colorado Springs

Start your Saturday with creativity and caffeine at our popular Clay & Coffee class! This monthly pottery workshop is a welcoming space for adults of all skill levels to explore the art of handbuilding with clay while enjoying fresh local coffee and good company.

Whether you're brand new to ceramics or have a little experience, you'll spend the morning learning to shape and sculpt clay by hand using simple but powerful techniques.

🎨 What You’ll Learn:

Led by a friendly, experienced instructor, you’ll explore:

• Slab building

• Pinch pot construction

• Coil-building techniques

Make anything from mugs and trays to small sculptures or planters—it’s up to you! You’ll have time to play, create, and connect with others in a relaxed studio setting. Plus, we’ll have freshly brewed coffee!

Class Fee: $60

Materials Fee: $15

Total: $75 per person (includes all materials and firing)

🔥 Pottery Pickup

Finished pieces will be fired and ready for pickup 4–6 weeks after class. We’ll email you as soon as they’re out of the kiln!

📘 Refund Policy

You may cancel online at least 7 days before your class for a full refund. If you cancel at least 3 days before class you will receive studio credit that can be used toward any future offering. Cancellations inside the 3 day window and no shows are not eligible for refunds or credit.
