Adult Pottery Workshop (Wheel) - [July 26th]

🌀 Beginner Wheel Throwing Class (Adults 18+)

This two-hour, beginner-friendly class is the perfect introduction to the potter’s wheel! Whether you're brand new to ceramics or just need a refresher, you'll learn the essentials of wheel throwing in a fun, supportive environment.

Each student will work on their own wheel and receive step-by-step instruction as you learn how to:

• Center clay

• Open and shape a pot

• Pull height and form smooth walls

• Alter the rim or base

• Explore simple surface design techniques

  
  

You’ll have the chance to create up to three small, functional pieces, such as bowls, mugs, or other round forms to be glazed and fired by our studio.

This is a great way to try the wheel and experience the magic of turning mud into something beautiful!

Materials Fee: $15

Total: $105 per student (includes everything needed to complete and finish up to 3 pieces)

Finished pieces will be fired and ready for pickup 4–5 weeks after class. We’ll notify you when they’re ready!
