Ready to try pottery for the first time — or get back into the studio? Our 4-week adult pottery class in Colorado Springs offers a fun, supportive space to learn the basics of handbuilding and wheel throwing, even if you've never touched clay before!


This shorter-format class is perfect for beginners and anyone looking to explore clay in a low-pressure, creative environment. You'll get hands-on experience with key pottery techniques and walk away with functional pieces you made yourself.


🎨 What You'll Learn

Over four weekly sessions, students will be introduced to essential ceramic techniques, including:

  • Handbuilding methods (pinch, coil, slab)

  • Basic wheel throwing for forms like mugs or bowls

  • Trimming and surface decorating

  • Glazing your final pieces


This 4-week format is a great way to sample the full ceramic process while building a strong foundation.

In just four weeks, students typically create a variety of beginner-friendly pieces, such as:

  • Bowls

  • Mugs

  • Small plates

  • Mini vases or planters

  • Decorative pieces or sculptures

  • much more!


You’ll have time to explore your own creative ideas while learning essential pottery skills.
